Making Julia's Pantry Fried Dill Pickles is so easy and quick, not to mention delicious.  These crispy pickle chips deliver a tasty and tangy  combination of texture and flavor  crisps up perfectly around the tangy bits. You can use any type of dill pickle, rounds, slices, halves, sandwich slices etc.  Sweet pickles work as well, but don't deliver the salty tang of dill.  Made with quality ingredients, including locally milled corn meal, corn flour and spices, Julia's Pantry Mix has a one year shelf life, so keep plenty on-hand for family night, game day or cookouts.

Not a fan of pickles?  Our Fried Dill Pickle Mix makes an outstanding crispy, gluten free breader for fried appetizers like crispy parmesan fried zucchini, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, squash, eggplant, jalapeno poppers and even mini corndogs.  They are hot and crispy crowd favorites that will keep everyone happy while dinner is on the way!   Customers love to use this mix as a breader for fried chicken and fried pork chops.    

FRYING DIRECTIONS: 

1.  In a medium saucepan or cast iron skillet, add oil ½ inch up the sides and heat to medium high heat.  

2.  Drain the pickles and pat dry with a paper towel. 

3.  In a medium bowl, combine pickle mix and water or milk and stir until batter is smooth. 

4.  Dip each pickle into the batter and add to the hot oil.  Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden and crispy. Carefully remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel.  Serve with you favorite dipping sauce (ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, bbq ranch sauce or your favorite hot sauce.    For a thinner layer of crunch, simply use pickle slices right out of the jar, dredge through dry pickle mix and fry according to directions.     


AIR FRYING DIRECTIONS:
Preheat to 425 degrees, place in a single layer and cook for 7-10 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 7-10 minutes till golden and crispy.
